The History of Fischerco South Liverpool Garden Maintenance Company

Fischerco Gardening Company is a long trading family owned business based in Aigburth, Liverpool.

Fischerco was originally set up by Karl Fischer as a garden maintenance company working exclusively on residential gardens in South Liverpool.

Due to customer demand, Fischerco expanded its services to include fencing, fence painting, tree surgery and hard and soft landscaping. Fischerco also moved into South Liverpool commercial real estate garden and grounds maintenance.

Fischerco is now able to provide any garden service or garden project requirement. From overgrown garden clearance to tree surgery to laying a new garden patio or decking.

Fischerco became incorporated by companies house and became a Limited company in May 2015.

Karl said the reason Fischerco has been such a success is because he and his team genuinely love what they do for a living.

About Karl

I started gardening in 1987 when I bought my first house. I bought all the books and I jumped straight in and made my first garden.

Since 1987 I haven’t stopped gardening. Gardening is my life, it always has been.
I am always thinking about gardening, always reading something or watching TV programmes about gardening.

I worked in law from 1987, I had a career lasting over 30 years. I have owned a few companies. I have been a Company Director, Marketing Director, Business Development Director and so on.

In 2015 I made a big decision to leave the corporate world, hang up my suits and become a full time gardener. I must confess that this was a worry as my children were still young.
As I have always loved gardening with a passion I never doubted myself. I knew that I could build up a successful gardening businesses and I did.

I love what I do, even on the coldest, wettest most miserable day I have never thought what I am doing here. I have never once wanted to return to office work.

I’d say that I am lucky, as I’ve lived two lives. One lasting 30 years in the corporate world and now the best one is since 2015 working in the gardening company world.

I hope that I get to spend 30 more years working on gardens and helping people.

I say that I now have the best job in the world.
